I was born to Don and Sibby Fish in Linton, Indiana. I have one older brother Scott Fish. My grandfather was Ace Fish who lived in Linton almost all of his life. He worked at G.E. until his retirement. He passed on in 2000 and I miss him greatly, but I learned much through his life.

My father is currently employed by the Greene County Department of Child Services as an investigator. He was previously employed by the Jasonville Police Department for 29 years. I have learned so much about the law and life through him. My mother is currently residing in Terre Haute close to my brother and his family. She likes to be close to my niece Mikaela and nephew Justin.

My wife Joanna and I are college sweethearts. We met when my fraternity and her sorority had a pledge event and dated all through college. We went our separate ways after college as I moved away to law school and she moved out west for her teaching career. But after awhile, we decided we could not be apart, married and currently live in Jasonville. My wife, Joanna, is currently a teacher at Bloomfield Elementary. She is teaching 6th grade science and social studies.

I have other family in the area. I would especially like to thank my aunt Belinda Fonderhide, her husband Mike and my other aunt Cheryl Fish for all of the help and support they have given me. Doris, Cassie, Gregg, Bentley, Bill, Pat, Ronda, Alyssa, Josh, Dee, Ona and all my family and friends who have helped with the campaign whether it be donations, setting up signs or going to events: thank you.
